Background of Rational Criteria<\/b><\/p><p>The mission of Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center is providing information resource such as books, textbooks for 10 libraries where are internal networks: Central Library, Rajvithi Campus Library, Faculty of Pharmacy Library, Faculty of Medical Technology Library, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies Library, ASEAN Institute for Health Development Library, Nevin S. Scrimshaw Nutrition Library, Institute for Population and Social Research Library, Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia Library, and Ratchasuda College Library. The objective of this project is for supporting all educational field for undergraduate and graduate students, research and informal education of Mahidol University staff. Besides, Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center still develops organization potential as the determination claimed, \u2018Learning area for developing wisdom of the land.\u2019 and improving basic structure, facilities, materials, equipment, and systems which are specialized in library work field such as RFID-based Library Systems (Security Gates, Self-check, Book Drop Kiosks, Inventory Management, Intelligent Shelving), Self-service printing-copying-scanning Solutions, Automatic Book Scanners, 3D Printer, Library Robots, Digital Media Production &amp; Learning Warehouse, etc. Besides, the library planned to provide 24-hour Co-learning space and Group &amp; Individual Study Rooms services as well.<\/p><p>However, the development of services in the library has expenses. Donating money is the one of all opportunities to cooperate between the library and users in developing organization and supporting resources in the library.<\/p><p>From this project, donators supporting education in Mahidol University can use a receipt for deduction on personal and corporate income tax (double deduction of amount donated) according to Royal Decree Issued under the Revenue Code Regarding Exemption from Revenue Taxes (No. 420) B.E. 2547.<\/p><p><strong>2. Objective <\/strong><\/p><ol><li>To collect money donated and use it for providing books, textbooks, tool, materials and equipment, media and educational technology to 10 libraries including Central Library and Faculty\/ Institute Libraries where are under Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center.<\/li><li>To collect money donated which includes developing and improving basic structure, facilities, materials, equipment, and technology systems for library such as RFID-based Library Systems (Security Gates, Self-check, Book Drop Kiosks, Inventory Management, Intelligent Shelving), Self-service printing-copying-scanning Solutions, Automatic Book Scanners, 3D Printer, Library Robots, Digital Media Production &amp; Learning Warehouse, etc. and providing 24-hour Co-learning space and Group &amp; Individual Study Rooms services as well.<\/li><\/ol><p><b>3.
