About The conference
     Library and Information Science Society for Asia and the Pacific (LISSASPAC or I-LISS) organizes the 1st International Conference on Library and Information Science: “From Open Library to Open Society.” (ICOO-2018) in association with KISTI-Keimyung University, Chonbuk National University (Graduate School of Archives and Records Management & Institute of Culture Convergence Archiving), Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Ph.D.Program in Information Science, School of Liberal Arts, Sukhothai Thammatirat Open University, Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, and Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Khonkaen University, Thailand on August 18-19, 2018.

Conference Highlights
• LISSASPAC and JISTaP Best Paper Awards
• All accepted articles are published in conference proceeding with ISBN
• Selected good articles recommended to publish in JISTaP (ISSN 2287-9099) Scopus-indexed journal, after simplified review process
     Papers are invited on the theme based on research experience or theoretical models, case studies from students, academicians, research scholars and librarians. The paper must be an original contribution and should not have been published elsewhere. The papers are application oriented and addressing the real problems and solutions are most welcome.
1.Paper for oral presentation
          1.1 Full papers (10-12 pages)
          1.2 Short papers (5 pages)
          must be written in English and submitted in MS word format. All Submission will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity in a peer single –blind review process.
        • Original Papers on the theme and sub-themes are invited.
        • The papers have to be submitted electronically
        • The paper should consist of the title of the paper, name(s) of
          the author/and their address with an E-mail ID and mobile No.
        • The Abstract should be about 150-200 words followed by at least 5 keywords. All full papers should be prepared in MS Word format, double spaced, 12 point font size, Times Roman font, not exceeding 3000-5000 words.
2.Poster session.
          Poster size : 62×96 CM. Please bring your printed poster with you to the conference. Posters (1-2 Pages), is best communicated in an interactive or graphical format. Poster presenters should submit an abstract of 150 - 200 words. Poster presenters are also suggested to provide the contact information on the poster for the further contact of the interested parties. The conference will provide a W100 (cm)*H200 (cm) board to each poster for exhibition.
LISSASPAC / JISTaP Best Article Awards
     LISSASPAC and JISTaPBest Article Awards will be given to the selected good articles respectively, and they will be recommended to be published in JISTaP (ISSN 2287-9099, Scopus-indexed journal) after simplified review process.

Guidelines for Paper Submission
- Full papers will be accepted for 20 minutes presentation.
- Poster session will be accepted after reviewing final version submitted.
- All the papers will be published in the Proceedings with ISSN in hard copy
- Selected papers will be recommended to be published in the JISTaP (ISSN: 2287-9099), with the revision based on the additional simplified.
