Times Higher Education (THE) published the Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 in June 2026 (formerly the THE Impact Rankings). The ratings assess universities worldwide against the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories took part.
Mahidol University is ranked =56 in the world, up from 64 last year, and 5th in Thailand — one of seven Thai universities in the global top 100. Its strongest goal is SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being, where Mahidol is No. 1 in the world with a score of 93.6, out of 1,254 universities in 106 countries in the SDG 3 table (2025: 91.9, 3rd in the world).
