MULKC visited Libraries of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Hong Kong
Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center led by Asst. Prof. Nopphol Pausawasdi, Ph.D., Director of Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, along with administrators and staff held a trip to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China on 3rd- 4th October 2023.
On Tuesday, 3rd October 2023, the delegation of Mahidol University Libraries visited Lee Shau Kee Library, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and received a warm welcome from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Library led by Mr. Edward F Spodick, Associate Director of Library Services and Ms. Joyce W K Yau, Manager (Administrative Services). The scopes of the visit were service area, library resources, and library technologies.
On Wednesday, 4th October 2023, the delegation of Mahidol University Libraries visited the Main Library (Main Campus), and Chi Wah Learning Commons (Century Campus), and received a warm welcome from the University of Hong Kong Libraries led by Dr. Esther Woo, (Director of Library Services, University Libraries) Ms. Flora Ng, (CIO & University Librarian, Hong Kong University), and the team. The scopes of the visit were service area, library resources.
The objectives of the trip in Hong Kong were to exchange knowledge especially in library service and management to develop Mahidol libraries to be better in the future.
