Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center held the event “VR for Education MU Library’ titled “VR for the High-impact Presentation”
Thursday, 26th September 2024 – Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, the President of Mahidol University was the chairman of the award ceremony of VR for Education MU Library titled “VR for the High-impact Presentation.” Asst. Prof. Sarawoot Watechagit, Ph.D., Director of Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, stated the objectives of this event at the Meeting room 2, 3rd fl., Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center. Besides, this ceremony was broadcasted online through IPTV system and Facebook Live: Mahidol University Library. To make the ceremony more meaningful, honored guests including Ms. Wantanee Suraphibul, Senior Executive Officer of Corporate Banking 2 Client Coverage 2.5, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singhanat Nomnian, Director of Mahidol University International Demonstration School; and Asst.Prof. Dr. Nopphon Pausawasdi, Assistant Dean for Information Technology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, participated in congratulating the students who received the awards. After the award ceremony session, there was a demonstration of the educational game using VR glasses by the winning student of the competition, and introduced new games to promote using services including VirtualSpeech, CPR Simulator, and Wraith VR, as another learning option and to support lifelong learning of students and staff of Mahidol University.
